Welcome to Lewis & Clark SHRM.
I am honored to be the President of Lewis and Clark SHRM and to serve alongside such a dedicated community of HR professionals. Throughout my career helping clients navigate human capital challenges, risk management, and HR consulting, I’ve witnessed firsthand the profound impact that strategic, people-centered HR leadership can have on organizations and the individuals within them. My journey in the HR industry has been shaped by a commitment to fostering inclusive workplaces, empowering talent, and continuously learning from peers across our region and beyond. I look forward to building on the strong foundation of this chapter, expanding opportunities for professional development, and creating meaningful connections among our members. LinkedIn
Before entering the HR profession, my time serving as a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps profoundly influenced how I approach leadership and service. The Marine ethos of putting others first, leading by example, and embracing accountability has stayed with me and continues to guide my work in human resources. Those values—service, integrity, and commitment—are at the heart of what we do as HR practitioners and are central to our mission at Lewis and Clark SHRM. I am excited for what we will accomplish together this year and am grateful for the opportunity to serve you in this role.

Our Chapter leaders today stand on the shoulders of those who built our Chapter over the years.
Growth: Our members are our best recruitment tool, driving our membership, meeting participation and level of member engagement. We are currently extending our membership renewal efforts and anticipate a continued trend of growth.
Service: Our strong partnership with the community and active connections with institutions of higher education across the region keep us engaged, aware and involved in our community. Every year we offer many opportunities for sharing our time and talent to serve and strengthen our communities.
Education: As a preferred provider of both HRCI and SHRM recertification credits, with all of our programs approved for credit through both, we can help maintain your certification(s) at a very affordable price. We have a rigorous certification process that ensures our educational programs are uniquely tailored to meet the needs of our membership!
Support: We continually share our expertise in meetings and provide networking opportunities for our profession! We offer mentoring opportunities, resume reviews, career connections and opportunities for leadership development through our community events and chapter committees.
Purpose and Mission of the Lewis and Clark Chapter
The purposes and mission of the Lewis and Clark Chapter of SHRM as a non-profit organization are:
