Board Service and Committe Volunteer Opportunities
Serving as a volunteer is a great way to give back to the HR community and to network with your peers. It is also a great way to use skills you already have or to develop a new skill you need. Lewis and Clark SHRM is supported by a 19 member volunteer leadership team serving a current and past membership that exceeds 400.
Monthly Member Meetings are held 10 times a year, with no meetings held in August and December. Board Meetings are held 6 times per year, with additional meetings as needed for specific committees and initiatives. The list below describes the various Lewis and Clark SHRM leadership areas in which we could also utilize volunteers. Although the descriptions are very general, there are many opportunities within each area to serve.
